Friday Weigh In...
I must be doing somthing right.

I haven't been able to run or walk much this week due to my plantar fasciitis, so I've been doing pushups (3x12) and crunches (3x20+2x20 bicycles) every night and riding my bike as often as possible... that ended up being twice last week, but it was better than nothing.
More importantly, tho, is that I've been very carefully watching my caloric intake and my macronutrient ballance. I'm a big fan of the 40/30/30 plan, and of keeping track of everything. My 3x5 card is my friend. I keep it in my back pocket all day long and write down everything I eat... I haven't had time to put it all into fit day, but I can go over it every evening to see how I'm doing.
I have an apt. on August 8th to get my feet taken care of. I am hoping that the shot of cortizone into my heels, that is the standard treatment at this point, will do the trick. Not that I relish the idea of a needle being shoved into my foot... but its better than the eventual alternative: releasing the tendon completely via surgery... gah!!!
I'm on the look out right now for weights to bring into the house. I am jonesing for more resistance work... and curling a jug of milk is only going to cut it for so long... ;) Garage sales are my friends!
