Friday? Weigh In...
I don't know why I keep doing these on Saturday... when I'm actually doing the scale thing on Friday... I guess it just takes a while for me to percolate what I want to say each week.
This week 184... so only .5 down from last week... which actually is more than I'd hoped for. See... here's the thing... if I walk, my feet hurt; if I run, my feet hurt; if I don't walk OR run, my feet hurt... and its getting REALLY fucking old.
SO I did some small workouts thru the week... nothing to be proud of, and nothing worth posting about... but what I did do is realize that my motivation and habits are so broken right now that I really need to do some reeducation. So... its back to reading Krista every day, and reporting to a higher power (a trainer)... and remembering what it was that made me love being strong and muscular and powerful. Its helping.
I'm making better choices... not perfectly clean eating yet... but that will come... and not the greatest workouts yet... but that also will come... On Tuesday I turn 32 years old and I will begin reporting everything to my trainer... and he WILL kick my ass and remind me (daily) where I told him I want to go, and what I need to do to get there.
Also... hopefully on the 8th my feet will be fixed... cortizone shots in the heels baby!!! And I'll finally be pain free... at least for a while.

This may be more information than you want:
Why don't you try cycling. You could do that on a stationary bike as well as on the road. But here is a different idea before you start that.
I have found that lifting actually makes my weight drop more quickly than cardio. I think it is due to lifting heavy and low reps. If you are tearing down your muscles with heavy weight, being able to do no more than 8 reps in a set ("failing" at or before 8), then you are most likely to be sore the next day which is an indicator that your muscles are in repair which means your metablolism rate has been boosted until the repair is complete and actually, since you are adding more muscle you are permanently increasing your metabolism rate. Girls are often scared of lifting heavy due to bulking up. I have found one can lift heavy to aid in weight loss and then go back to cardio and high rep workouts once the fat weight is gone. This remedies the new bulk. If you look at a runners body, you know that bulk is rarely seen. Even those who start running with bulky muscle will likely lose it due to switching to a cardio based workout. Your body eventually eats a lot of it away. If you have a low fat percentage and expending a lot of energy through cardio, your body will begin to use your muscle for energy. You would have to continue to lift heavy and support those workouts with calories to maintain bulk muscle or increase it. I have gone from 190 to 155 using this technique.
So, this is how you do it:
I would break up my body into three workouts.
Chest and Triceps; Back and Biceps; Legs. One should workout at least 3 days a week so that the entire body is addressed and sore weekly. I have been on this regimen for the last month and I have lost 10 pounds. When I am done with my weightloss, I think I may take up tennis to get a leaner look through cardio, but right now I look kind of bulky. I have 5 more pounds to lose.
Hope this makes sense. It works for me and works fast :)

Hah! On the 8th I get to have my g-tube removed. We'll BOTH be pain free! woot!
Im so glad to see you catching yourself and knowing your strengths and weaknesses. Its the absolute best way to get where you need to go- especially when you know you need help and get it.
Is the trainer cute?

I am the same way about weigh ins. They kinda suck. But they are good too. I hope your foot feels better after the shot. I am trying to get back to my routine. Not much movement on the scale though. The beer is too good.
