Weekend Update
it was hot. and that's all I have to say about that.
HIIT - I believe in HIIT with a passion. I made more progress fitness/running and fat loss when I was doing HIIT than I ever had before. The problem I have right now is that the HIIT I love doing is running based (on the treadmill), and being banned from running has really hit me to the core and made it VERY difficult to get motivated to do it at all. I am going to try to do 20 minutes of HIIT this week on the eliptical to see if it works for my feet or not.
I am not doing BFL right now, but I've always believed in the eating plan and exercise plan as a way to get started and stay motivated toward fitness. I believe in the 40/30/30 ratio (protein/carbs/fat) for health and wellness and I TRULY believe that women should try as hard as possible to eat as much organic and hormone-free food as is humanly possible, and take a prenatal vitamin (the extra folic acid and calcium are a benefit to all menstruating women).
( are ya listenin' to me preach? hahahah!)
The problem I've had is that even though I believe in all of those things, I haven't been very good at following thru with anything other than the organic, hormone-free food goals. That ends today. Today I began taking my prenatal vitamin again, and starting in the morning I will be tracking my food on fitday.com again and pushing toward the 40/30/30 ratio that I know I do best on.
And there you have it.
Exercise this weekend was not focused - I did a lot of housecleaning but the heat really did keep us inside far more than I would have liked. Today, however, I did the Beginners lower body split again and ran the stairs in my house 20 times. I think the legs are gonna feel it tomorrow.
Goals for Tuesday:
Take my Vitamin
40/30/30 (record EVERYTHING in fitday)
Call Dr. HappyFeet about my heels
Call Subaru Dealership for a/c fix
Upper Body and some sort of cardio (20 min +/-)

BRENNA!! I do not think my computer was loading your blog right because I didn't see these July posts UNTIL TODAY! I feel so awful!
Oh, Brenna, can we please do an August challange or something. I know Im going to begin posting every day because I noticed that my exercise routine actually got worse as I posted less (weird!). I 'dropped out' of weightlifting and Im just ticked at myself over it, so I need to refocus on that. Can I admit I am scared of the free weight room? Should I just suck it up and ask oe of the guys who POSE in there for their help? I am not afraid of the machines though. Let me look through Krista's website again and see if I can find comparable machine exercises just in case.
